Matilda was abandoned in a neighborhood in Mexico. She has a huge personality, she is sweet and hilarious. Like most small dogs she has a strong personality; she can be shy at first. She takes her own time to trust, but once she does, she is the most affectionate dog in the world. She is definitely a lap dog and will follow you around with her toys to make sure you know she is around. She still has puppy energy, and once she is confident is super playful with other playful dogs. It would be amazing if she could be adopted with her best friend Rocky, they were rescued the same day and went to the same foster. When she gets excited, she will bark. She is smart and obedient. She is leash trained, loves car rides and LOVES toys. Applicants will only be considered if they have another small, playful dog. Absolutely no cats.
