Goyo is the sweetest sole we have ever met. He was originally posted on facebook as needing help. A few people spotted him around but nobody could ever catch him. Until one Sunday, a determined woman went looking and waiting for him. She was able to find him and get him to our after hours vet. This poor guy was completely exhausted. He had erlichea, anemia, was quite underweight and had non-contagious mange. After the vet we got him to the shelter and he just wanted to sleep. Now finished with his vetting protocols and healthy, we’d love him to have a quiet, loving home. He is great around other dogs, mostly not paying any attention to them. He is still very quiet but LOVES attention from people. He would be a very loyal companion for sure. Occasionally a little playful side comes out where he will jump up and wants to nibble on your hand. Truly he is happiest being showered in affection and he loves all the attention. He does have a docked tail but was likely born that way, as we see it fairly often here. He’s now ready for a home and human of his own. We know he will continue to open up once he has his own home.
