eva

Female-mixed breed

Age: October 2013 | Weight: 16kg

Eva was reported on facebook as being in the streets in Puerto Vallarta, not far from Vista Vallarta golf course. We were also contacted about her at the same time. We love seniors so of course we said we’d help her! She was transported to our care shortly after. She has demodex (non-contagious) mange and is very underweight. She spent the her first few days sleeping almost around the clock. We can’t imagine the life this girl has had. It’s clear she’s had many litters of pups too.

She is quiet and frail but we can already see the changes in her demeanor. She is now free to roam around Puppyland. The little puppies love her…grandma?? She has really perked up and loves to have attention and is often seen wagging her tail. Due to her age, she will not be available for adoption out of the country. She can be “forever fostered” here locally. Otherwise, she will live out the remainder of her life with us at the shelter. Her coat is improving and she is such a gentle soul.
